Andrew Rosenblum is a Bay Area native, who has been playing music professionally since he was 11 years old. Performing mostly in Jazz groups, he has made a name for himself in the genre in Northern California. He has also performed in Fusion, Rock, Classical, Blues, Funk, and various other ensembles throughout his career. When there was a need, he taught himself other instruments along the way to make himself more versatile. These instruments include: Guitar, Bass, Drums, Piano, Trumpet, Clarinet, Saxophone, Flute, Trombone, Vibraphone, Voice, Oboe, Bassoon, Tuba, Ukulele, Synth, Sitar, and anything else he could get his hands on. This soon led the way to Songwriting and Recording arts. Writing/Recording songs for himself and others proved to be a positive creative outlet.
Andrew's versatility has allowed him to be one of the premiere instrumentalists in Northern California. He performs with many groups that tour over the West Coast; from Reno and San Francisco to Palm Springs regularly. He has played with acts such as: Bill Watrous, John Faddis, Cornelius Bumpus, James Moody, Arturo Sandoval, Jeff Hamilton, Andy Martin, John Santos, Clark Terry, Mike Vax, Ed Thigpen, Mic Gillette, Dallas Brass, and others.
